I got a few pics of a couple of CVO's that are in at my dealer and a film clip with sound, but I'm not sure how to link the clip yet, still working on that, if someone can enlighten me on that- that would be way cool ! ! !
The Road King is in the rear building and I am going in on Saturday to see it and they are going to fire it up for me to take another video and pics.

A buddy of mine is going in to see about getting the Road King dressed with Black Ice, but was somewhat put down when he was told that the new owner of the dealer is holding off all sales of the CVO models that arrive for his friends! I could'nt agree with you more !!!!
No way would I drop the dough for a CVO and than not have tunes and storage !!

I had several one on one talks with the new owner at his house, and got from his mouth that he was all for doing for (us) to make (our) biking experience and trips to the dealer as pleasurable as possible. Even during the service trips in. So far it looks like he is full of (brown, smelly stuff).

Ya I took them with my new 8 meg Sony and the paint was very easy to see the detail, The Black of the Ultra has orange flake in it the makes it look brownish at times in the sun, pretty cool !!

Dear CVO member,
I enjoyed the pics you put up very much. For ref data I'm looking for the bikes model/engine code of the new 2007 FXDSE and FXSTSSE. That would be the 5th, 6th and 7th digits of the VIN. So, three digits right behind 1 H D 1 . . .
Maybe you can look that up at the dealers showroom. Overseas we have not seen any yet.

That wouldn't even be debated !
So your 110 has much less mechanical noises compared to the 103 motors from what I am told, can you verify that for us? Not that I'm complaining mind you, just curious.

The new bike is much quieter, I have left it totally stock for now (just so you know) but as I have been going faster and faster there is a throatier (is that a word?) sound to it, believe me when I tell you , THIS BIKE HAS ALOT OF POWER

Thanks for posting those pictures.

On the sound front I think that the new fight for now sound from the bike goes against the whole idea of HD. Hard to imagine HD say with a smooth sound like on a goldwing or bimmer LT. So I will definitely be changing my bike's sound to something more loud.

Well- Eddie got the good news- He will be the new owner of a 2007 FLHRSE3 dressed in Blue! He called me to give me the news during the Labor day weekend. Guess the owners buddy never even bothered to drop down to see it, so good for Ed.
Now I'll find out first hand how the 110 goes and sounds like. It should be picked up by the 13th I guess.
Hell, Eddie may be able to come to MV. with us, if he can get time off from work.

The RK already comes with the Profile lowered suspension, so going lower will require an aftermarket solution. Advise your friend to be careful (as Karl mentioned), any lower will seriously affect bank angle and ride.

He just had the HD close seat put on-tried it- took it off- he said it didnt do much for him but shove him forward and didnt help with the lack of leg issue. So off it went and the stocker back on. I told him about the less lean angle he'd have with the 1" lower front end. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

I checked his air when he got home with it, the dealer sent him out the door with 35psi, so I dropped it to around 12 to ease the ride, It was really a stiff looking ride before hand, and he says it feels much better now. I knew it wasn't going to lower him much, if any, but whatever may help

Found this on the side of Hwy 142 in Farrer, GA (between Newborn and Shady Dale) at a little pub! I almost slammed on my brakes to look at it. I was following mom and dad, and they noticed I stopped and turned around. Met four of the greatest guys -- despite them stereotyping me and laughing when they said, "You ride? You don't exactly look like a biker!" Mom set them straight! It was a classic moment! Almost as classic as her trying to set me up with one of them...

The bikes are in order...SEUC (B&O), UC (Blue), SEUC (Black and Candy Crimson?), and RK (basically stock....yea, right! We know all about that!!). Ironically, a couple of the guys were from my area just out riding and decided to have lunch at this new pub they like (200+ miles away).

I told them about the site and MV after they invited us to Unadilla for Bikefest the same weekend. OH YEA, BTW, he just walked in his dealership as they were unloading and he put a deposit down on it. No search, no wait! Just in the right place at the right time!!!

My dad was afraid to go in because he thought they'd only serve beer. But it's not really a "bar." It's a local pub...good food, two pool tables, fried frog legs, beer (and sweet tea) and a big screen!! Mom is a handful anywhere!! By far, the most stubborn person I know! Her dad was Irish and her great grandmother on her mother's side was American Indian. Creates quite a combination of temper and attitude!!! At 5' 0" she is the only person I've ever been afraid of (and I think my dad and brother would agree)!!!!!!!

MYCVO...your friend might also want to consider a set of air shocks...since putting my Legends on, it has made a huge difference in my confidence level when trying manuever the bike with my feet/legs. Drops the rear end 3" in just a couple of seconds, then pump 'em back up when you start moving down the road again. And, you have suspension, even all the way down. Just an alternative to giving up suspension travel permanently on an already lowered bike.

That's an excellent option! But just yesterday did I hook up with him at Cape Cod HD and he had already did the spring lower kit, and has dropped a couple hundred miles on it, and says it feels great. We rode about a hundred when we left there and I taped him for the first time, the bike seems to handle very well, and he's flat footed at rest so I think he's good on the note.

Seems like they didn't expect anyone to ever put a solo seat on their scooter, or they are to cheap to carry the theme on the entire fender. Either way it sucks.

I would say so!! He's got a few issues with his paint, That for one, and the swingarm color doesn't match with the frame - but instead with the color of the Harley Davidson emblems on the tank.
But he is still loving his new ride. Just wants to get a few of these items resolved as they should have been from the factory, by quality control..

Tell me do, you find that some of the frame or filler plates are a different color than your frame is??
Like the saddle bag filler are a deeper purplish tone ,and the swingarm on the right side is more blue than the rest of the frame.

It's not a light changing the color thing or move around and the color changes either..

I moved the scoot out into the sun light in order to do the check. The paint is uniform throughout. My wifes eyes are much more keen to the finer details and she says that there are no discrepencies either. And if there were any changes, SHE WOULD BE THE FIRST TO NOTICE. LOL

Glad to hear that! At least you got out of that one anyways. Ed's discrepencies are pretty noticable on both counts. Don't know all of what is going to be done with it though, Hopefully the dealer will get a rep in and hook him up with Ed's to see what the fix will be.
