What was your cleaning routine before build #1 and #2. Was the oil pan replaced? All lines and passages cleaned and bottom end disassembled and reassembled?
And the wide bands.. are they right out of the heads in the pipe? Thundermax, as you know, uses throttle position and RPM to direct fuel delivery, what was the target AFR at your 40% ish throttle and 4500 rpm?

There was no failure before build one bike was a perfectly running 103, after the first failure eveything was gone threw . As for the afr i dont know that atm . Wide bands are up by the heads

No dyno ,thundermax with auto tune adjustments and i made some timing adjustments to take out knock . I had sticky rods the first failure had the crank rebuild trued and welded. Thinking that was the culprit but now i have a second failure in the exact same way and timing. Both failures were in 5th gear 100+mph under load 4500 rpmish zippers seems to think its a oiling issue and want me to check the camplate its a new s&s plate and pump

What about the tune? Was this done by dyno with AFR monitoring.
You say crank is stock. Did you check runout and for stiff rods?

I absolutely love watching this race series. Kyle Wyman is a man among boys in my opinion. I went to see these races live at Daytona this year and last year. It's crazy seeing them run at 185 mph. I am admittedly a Harley fan boy, pulling for Kyle. Kyle's grandfather emptied out a chicken coup to open Marv's Harley-Davidson in Macedon NY in 1962. Kyle's mother bought the dealership in the '80's I think and still runs it today. Kyle and his brothers, Travis and Cody all three race.

In the second KOTB race at Ridge Motorsports Park in WA. The Indian Racer Troy Herfoss pulled in my opinion a dick move running into Harley factory racer Bradley Smith to get the win. Looked intentional to me. The back story was that Herfoss and Indian was butt hurt because Harley had blocked out Indian the day before in race #1 taking 1st, 2nd and 3d. Who knows. Indian's Herfoss did not podium at Laguna Seca.

Also Harley factory racer James Rispoli won both Super Houligan races I think at Laguna too.

King of The Baggers 2025 season is all HD. Kyle Wyman has won six out of eight  races thus far.

Still six races to go, two per venue. Next up, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course mid August.
