You know they've never had a Pope from Maine. Probably never will.

That's because the Pope don't wear flannel! (At least per Bob Marley - the Main humorist, not the singer)

I don't think Marley's a native megavolt- - you listen to the CD I plagerized below and he don't get his accent goin good till a few stories into it. I think he's like Marshall Dodge who was from New York but had the Maine humah thing down pat. Marshall was kilt in a bicycle accident in Hawaii. Now Tim Sample, he's from Maine. Blue Hill I think. Tim used to do this bit about his boy Ephram. He'd say, " Now you know my boy Ephram, he not only don't know nuthin, he don't even suspect nuthin"  Wickid Pissah  aha  ahaha  ayuh   :)

WBLM used to play clips from Bert & I.  I actually looked on E Bay and they had CDs, but the were several hundred dollars.  Apparently they are hard to find.  I could not find Tim Sample, and to be honest I often have trouble recalling his name when I am in a CD store.  Bob Marley is easier to remember for me.  I think it's too many years, or too many IPAs that has affected my memory.

God I miss Maine!

I remember, as a kid, listening to a record my parent had. We would listen to it over and over and laugh ourselves silly. I think I will try to find it.
