List your vin# here and it will get added to the list. welcome to the world of 1 of 64, blue flame collection. Best riding Hd i've owned.
Who's maintaining the registry now? I read on a previous page that the originator wanted to pass it on to someone else. For whoever is doing it, here's my details:

Name: Jon D.
State: Washington
Purchase date: February 15, 2011
Last 6 of VIN: 951691

Where would one look to see the registry? It seems like there is more than 64. The vin numbers span more than 64 also.

To my knowledge, it's never been taken over.  My last update is attached to the first post in this thread and was from April last year.  Anyone is free to download it and update it.  I would even assist by attaching it to the original post to make it easier to find (you would have to e-mail updates to me), versus someone taking it over mid-thread where it would become difficult to locate quickly.

2timen, you're killing me with these photos! Envy is not a feeling I get often but this shot gives me a bad case!

If you read through some of the FXR threads, you will find it is probably the most closely documented bike on the site. Many admirers and boatloads of history. Someday I hope to own 1, much less 3!

Sorry about that. I'm kind of proud of my collection. I see that you have one of the bikes I plan to add. The 2004 SE duece. My bud down the street got me into this collection. He is the one with the really nice stable. I think he is up to 18 or so bikes. We hope to get together and photo all of them. I will post that shot when it happens. The FXR's are a truely great ride. But for travel I'll stick to my FLSTC.

The SED is a great bike as well. Very sharp looking and there are lots of them out there for sale so the prices are low. Good for anyone looking to buy, sad for those looking to sell.

That's not really what I had in mind.  If someone wants to take this on and if they want to forward me the updates as they make them (versus starting a new thread of their own, which, of course, is another option), I'm willing to provide that person an e-mail address and then update the first post, accordingly.  But since I've sold my blue 3, I'm not going to monitor each post in this thread for updates to the registry.  That's too much like continuing to maintain it.

Who got info from harley davidson on production numbers for blue fxr3's and who was his contact at harley davidson? I just had fellow who was interested in my fxr3 blue flame for sale. he told me i was a liar. I called customer service at harley davidson yesterday and verified all production numbers for fxr2, fxr3, fxr4. i was told by her, Samantha, that 300 fxr3 blue flame bikes were produced. All other numbers given by someone here were correct, only error was in the numbers for the blue flame. Please let me know who at HD said the numbers were 64! I'd like to set the record straight, don't like to be called a liar. Dave

I just finished some digging at HD with customer service and spoke with girl who wrote letter in 2007. She informed me with info currently available to her 300 total blue flame bikes were produced in 1999. i had fellow call me a liar, so i checked into it myself and spoke with her. I don't know where they are, nor does she..but  the numbers stand corrected. Anyone can call customer service and speak with her about it. 270 for 49 states  and 30 for Calif. She is one of 8 in customer service and verify the findings. Just wanted to let everyone know, if they care!  Dave

Hmmmm, why the change in figures? Was it that difficult for her to know the correct number, 4 years ago? Either way, still a very low production number. I'll check back in another 4 years and see if the number changes......... again :)

Well ain't that special!  I always wondered why the moco would produce only 64 of the blue flame and hundreds of the green flame.  Just did not make sense to me.  Makes me feel a little better since I sold my blue flame FXR3 several years ago that while very special, it was not as limited as the moco lead us to believe.

Dang, they're everywhere....a dime a dozen.....I think maybe now I should be able to find/afford one since the prices should be coming down as the increased supply finds it's way to the marketplace.  :) har.  spyder
