When we were on the Ride to the Wall this year, there was a Melon that had a real nice light bar under the TP. It showed brake and turn signals and also had some flashing features for the brake. It really showed up well. There are two rows of LEDs instead of just one. The turn signals were in amber and the brake was in std read.

The whole unit is in a chrome housing and was fastened under the TP. The owner told me he got it from a vendor in Daytona, his home town.

 :worthless:

But I screwed up and never got a picture of it. I'll see if I can get some info on it for anyone that is interested.

I'm working it man. I'm trying to locate an email address.

All he could tell me was that he had seen them in Daytona at the rally.

It fits under the tour pak, is chrome, double row of LED's, doesn't fit perfectly under the leather TP, but doesn't look bad. Since the tour pak is roundish, the outside corners of the unit protrude some from under the TP. I think it would fit perfectly under the fiberglass paks.

It really lit up nicely, turn signals were probably about 8 columns of LED's with the Brake being more like 25 columns. When he applied the brake, the brke light blinked on and off several times. Very visible.

I'll try and google it up and see if I can find a picture while waiting on getting in contact with the owner. He said he's been to the site, but isn't a member.

Sorry for falling down on the job.

Brake Applied

Wow, All of that looks really great.  Have you seen anyone mount the flexible strip lights at the top of the tour pack to get the light a little higher up?  There were several options of the lights for the license plate, did not see the acorn nuts, do you have a better name?  Thanks.

I wanted a little more visibility with the LED strip.  I decided to mount the LED on the tour pack.  Only used the double sided tape that came on the LED strip. I placed it just under the top lid of the pack where it is nice and protected, but very visible when the light is illuminated.   I was experimenting with the location and just ran the wires though heat shrink tubing and over the lip of the tour pack.  I am considering drilling a very small hole in the pack to run the wiring though, but I have had no problems with the weather seal the way it is now.

Where did you get this flexible light shown on the tour pack?  Thanks.
