And I have a question.
My 09 SEUC has the power locks but in order to lock the ignition I have to push it down, turn it and then use the key to lock it.
I circled the picture below where it says "all at the same time".
Are all 10's like that or is mine and I don't know it?

Click on the picture to enlarge.
When you push the key/buttons, it does lock the bags, tourpac. The only advantage I can see to this is if you are laying in bed in a motel room and the wife needs in the bags, you can just click the key/button to open and close for her without getting up. If you want to lock the "forks" you must push down and turn just like they all have done for years. The ignition automatically locks when you leave the bike, if you have the security keybob. I do not think they made any changes in the security from 2009 to 2010. I personally hated carying that big key with the buttons, so I went to the dealer and got my key code and ordered a "normal H.D. key. Now I have to push the dash button to lock bags, tourpac, or lock each item seperatelywith the key. I still carry the security fob also.

At the request of the Moco this thread has been removed until the official release of the mid year model.

why does it matter that we had a thread on mid-year model release, and why did you cow-tow to the MoCo?  This forum specifically states that it is in no way connected with the MoCo, but yet they do this?  Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmm.   :nixweiss:

The material presented was copyrighted and the MoCo asked us to remove it.  Not a whole lot more to say...

They've always been 'super-protective' of all their 'stuff'.  Too bad they act that way with one of their best support groups.  :-[ Doesn't speak well for their customer appreciation/relations, does it?   :(  spyder

No the things that make you go "hmmmmmmmm" is when someone would speculate that a forum supported totally by donations would want to go up against a multi-billion dollar corporation for some of their copyrighted material.... I was told a long time ago you have to pick you battles, and sometimes it's better to walk away then fight. Some may call it "cow-tow" and some may call it "good sense"... guess it all depends on what you have to loose. :nixweiss:

I call it "good sense".  If I ran the site and they called, I wouldn't hesitate to hold off.

Gary, with all due respect, the MoCo has bigger fish to fry than us...having said that, I didn't know that there was copyrighted material posted on the site, all I saw was the discussion on the Ultra Black.... :nixweiss:

Is is not worth getting the site shut down until THEY (MOCO) decide if it is an infringement to their copyright or not. I like this site too much to have it sit in court until a decision is made.  It is too bad they don't read up on more of the complaints posted here. It would be nice but maybe they are picking their battles too.

I am sure the copies of the product literature complete with photos and technical data that was posted was copyrighted material.  And if they took the time to contact the site and asked to have the material removed - there is no choice but to remove it - if you respect the copyright laws and if you have a vested interest in the site.   It was the prudent decision to remove the thread as requested - just saying......   :nixweiss:
