X-Stream Windshield
« on: March 25, 2010, 01:41:39 PM »

Hello Chaps
I'm coming over to the ol' US of A in two weeks time.
Whilst over I'm taking in a tour of the factiory and H-D museum  :bananarock:
I have a list of goodies I plan on buying to bring home for my trusty 08 Ultra.
On said list is an X-Stream Windshield

http://harleyshields.com/x-stream/

Has anyone fitted one of these to their bike and if so how'd you like or dislike it?
I am 6'1" and am getting a little buffeting with the standard 9" screen and wondered if the 9" X-Stream would cure that problem.
Any advice you can give will be much appreciated.  :2vrolijk_21:
Thanks
V.

Have the 8 and 1/2 inch Klock Werks unit on my SESG and it works well for me (that is the same unit as the H-D X-Stream). I'm allmost 6 feet and I accually shortened mine about 3/4 inch so I could se over it.

Yes I have the 8 in. it is a great product, it really seems to eliminate the buffeting from the wind.  I would highly recommend it!

I have the 12 " recurve clearview smoked windshield on mine and I'm 6' 2". Perfect windshield for me. I like the cost of the clearviews also.
