Blinded by the light.
« on: May 23, 2011, 10:14:48 PM »

Yesterday I was temporarily blinded by the sun reflecting off the tank chrome.  I have noticed short term flashes from this before, but at noon time I was on the interstate and the sun was at the perfect angle.  It was relentless, rode for about 15 minutes with my hand blocking the serious glare.

All the while I was thinking about what am I going to do about this?    From the reaction of the cagers that went by, it must have been a site.  My face lit up like a strobe light.  Since it was Sunday, many thought that I looked angelic. ( only an illusion )  I suffered and endured.  My only comfort was the rumble of the 110 accompanied by the classic rock in my helmet.

The price we pay!  The only thing that I came up with is just smile at the fact that I have a great looking chrome covered ride.  :bananarock:

Some flat black paint will fix that problem.
