Transmission fluis leak
« on: August 04, 2010, 08:30:07 PM »

Fellas, I was hoping you could help me out, working on a 95 dyna. had leak on the main drive shaft of the tranny, pulled primary and sprocket. replaced quad seal and large oil seal as well as the spacer/race. put it back together, filled up the fluid and SOB, still seeping down the the drive shaft. any ideas?

Assume you eyeballed but no nasty groove cut in the shaft by the old seal?  Or bearing or bent shaft problems to ruin a seal?
