Looks interesting. Lots of features. Will have to see what the price point is when it comes out.

That's interesting.  Really surprised such a significant aftermarket option is being made available for bikes that old and for just the Road Glide niche on top of that.  It's not cheap but it's at least in a range that will keep me interested enough to look more when they hit the street.

That is nice looking, but $900-$1200 is a lot of dough

I didn't get the whole way to the end of the video. If it comes out at 900, Iight do it and sell my RF 9813 HU for about 350 to recoup some of the money. Current RF unit sells for anywhere between 600 and 800 depending on availability.

Totally.  And if I had anything important to actually spend money on or pay off would do all that before getting a radio for an old bike.  But, damn, my bikes hardly ever get cool upgrades anymore.  They're all upgraded out; at least within the bounds of my personal tastes.  And I don't have anything else to waste money on.  Pissing away a grand is way better than pissing away 10 grand.  I can piss away a grand.  It's stupid because I hardly ever listen to the radio while riding anyway.  And it would be more than just the radio.  The speakers and amp inside there are more than a decade old.  But what the hell, maybe maps through Android auto will work well and be easily seen.  It's sad when you haven't got to waste money on a bike for a long time....

Someone definitely needs to grab one of these on day one and tell all about. That way I can learn and see if they're worth buying and cheaper somewhere a couple months later!

I found a site taking preorders for $999. I sent them an email asking if they want full deposit or partial. I'd rather not have 1k of my money waiting on something due in Nov and then it get delayed.

I also looked at the site that is offering them.  They already have a similar unit out for the batwing fairings, so I am thinking they just had to modify the face for the Roadglide not the internals.  I had been thinking about a Rockford Fosgate HU, but will wait to see how this one works out.  Having Carplay would be nice.

I have the RF HU and am thinking of dumping it for this. It's a good HU but the screen can wash out in bright sun and like you said, having access to your phone for apps would be nice. Soundstream HU for the 14+ has had pretty good reviews.

I already did the Pioneer DMH-WT8600NEX which cost way more than this unit unfortunately..
