Title: 110 liquid cooled heads?
Post by: plustiano on November 03, 2022, 05:45:39 PM
Can anyone tell me if these heads are for a 2015-2016 FLHXSE? Part # 16500215 front & 165002167 rear. Picture attached. I'm looking to send the heads out to get worked on. Thanks!

These are water-cooled, likely acquired at a good price as the air-cooled equivalents are getting hard to find.

Thanks for the confirmation! I’m thinking of sending it out for some work and will probably upgrade to a 113 as well. I’ve been gathering the needed tools and some supporting parts pieces. I’m still not set on cam and where to send my heads 😂. Thinking if I should source a set of 110 jugs so minimal down time or take that leap and start disassembly process on my cvo sg. Decisions

I could certainly help with all aspects of the build. I do all the machine work in-house and have done many of the water-cooled builds.
Any more I wait to discuss cams, compression, and other specifics with customers after I have the job because it becomes part of a very detailed interview about how they ride, payload, and horsepower goals.

Got it. I'm still in the gathering info / parts  stage. I'll definitely reach out when I'm ready. Thanks again

we do a lot of water cooled & non water cooled 110 heads here, including water cooled for non water cooled motors (we fill them with block filler) they are our "go to head" for our 124" builds but also get used in our 107" kits too.i just finished up my personal 2006 (non CVO) ultra with a 113" build & OD 6 speed)
