your guess is as good as mine (or the German Weather Bureau ;)) as how long this riding season may last over here ::)
We already got some snow on the mountains 3 weeks ago, but it didn't last for the next day.
Anyhow we thought it a good idea to pick last weekend for a formal Last Mile and rode up to the old hunting grounds of the Princes Kinsky (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Kinsky) at Na Tokáni (http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=de&sl=de&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.czippe.homepage.t-online.de%2FHomepageClassic01%2Fbalzhut.htm&sandbox=1) (sorry translation by google ::)), just some straight 50 m from Dresden in the czech mountains, a ride you can easily handle even in the most adverse of weather conditions (except ice of course).
It turned out to be a fine Saturday at 45-60°F, rain overnight and more or less the same friendly weather on Sunday so we did detour a little and strolled through the valleys and mountains (not real mountains though, max 500 ft., but certainly an elevation coming from the Elbe Valley at 35 ft. ;D).
Here are some pictures (http://www.bilder-alben.com/slideshow.php?set_albumName=album58).

Some of those narrow, tree lined roads looked real fun. I guess any road is fun with scoots & friends!! :huepfenjump3:
