A big HOWDY from Prescott!! Congrats on your new ride!  At least you have the hydraulic tensioners.  The older units were a ruined motor waiting for a place to happen IMHO, if not kept in check.  I have used the S&S gear drive cams with great success on several of my other bikes.  Depends on what kind of power you want and where in the RPM range you want it.  Anyhows, we can yak about that in the TECH section.....
