I'm new to this site and to owning a CVO. I've owned a few Harleys over the years. I still have my 2011 highly modified Street Glide Limited. That said, I saw the 2022 Blue Steel "Street Glide" at a dealership sometime early in 2022 and fell in love with the "Color and mostly the scorched chrome". I figured at that time I would wait and would buy one later because I wanted to see it on the Road Glide. Here in NC I don't I can get to 4 dealers all within an hours ride, some closer, and asked them all to give me a call when they got a Blue Steel Road Glide in. Plus I searched the dealers inventory on line as well. None of them could get one. They got the red on and the green one, but I wanted to blue steel. Fast forward to Dec 27th and was in VA, 40-minute ride from my house, and asked them to find me the Blue Steel. Long story short, they found one in WVA and said they would go get it if I wanted to buy it. I asked how much, and he said he would sell it at MSRP + HD markup and tax and title.
I went home that night and couldn't sleep. So I called them the next morning and said, deal and go get it. (Darn bike was hard to find) anyway, they picked it up and I signed the paperwork and took the CVO home Dec 31 of 2022. Next morning the bike was a year old. lol Anyway that's my story. Now looking to change bars. I'm tall 6'6" and 280+lbs. I just have a few things to add but don't plan to change much. Bars pipes, but I love that scorched chrome, so I want to keep that look.
