H-D SE-120ST?
« on: March 08, 2023, 10:10:34 PM »

Does Harley still make the SE-120ST crate motor?  I've been trying to find a listing on any availability. Can't find a thing about them recently.

Any ideas on where to locate one or more of these?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks!

Yes, I saw that motor, but I need to have the pre-06 primary side crank end.  The possible application may be to replace the S&S Wedge motors used on the Morgan Three Wheelers.  The Wedge motor has now been dropped by S&S and they are NOT supporting any parts or replacement motors.  My friends on the forum are looking for possible alternative power plants and the pre-'06 with the "B" motor would fit all of the existing drive coupling components now used.  Motor mounts and exhaust would need to be fabbed, but not impossible.

The Wedge used the old Harley 4-bolt primary bolt pattern and the threaded course spline of the primary crank end versus the '07/newer full splined crank end with an internal bolt to retain the compensator.  I thought that they, Harley, made a pre-'07 120ST crate motor, but I could be wrong.

Thanks again for the information.

i have been noticing that the aftermarket is dropping parts faster and with less options than hd is.. have to fix one tiny part in my trans this spring.. im going to go straight stock.. more of a chance it will keep running longer
