Hey all! Thanks for the warm welcome!!!    It was great meeting all of you and to those I have not yet met...I look forward to it some day soon   

As most of you already know, I am "Mrs. Hoist" and you probably won't see much of me as Mr. Hoist monopolizes the computer at home. I might have to tie him up once in a while so I can get some computer time. I'm at work now (the boss hasn't come in yet ) but if she catches me here one too many times, I'm as good as dead!   

So, to answer some of your questions...Seegarz, I am a New Yorker by choice AND by birth right! And as far as putting up with Hoist...well...my lips are sealed

I really mostly lurk from work myself since HogBreath has the same monopoly on the home computer as Hoist does at your house! Lucky for me my boss is HAPPY to see me at the site! If you have any trouble with yours let me know 

Can't wait to see the pics from next w/e! Just wish we could all be there! Sadly, we have this interest in food and electric and insurance (not to mention chrome/traxxion etc etc) that requires us to do the dreaded 4 letter word for being at the office!

Ed was just up here chatting (IRL=in real life) about the site!  He was mentioning ribs and grits! I had to tell him Ken had leftover ribs for lunch. We made a plan to smoke again sometime soon! 

Well, HB hollers at me if there's something he thinks is funny and I have been known to log him out to post then log him back in so he can play off it!! It's a family effort ya know! 

Would LOVE to come this w/e... now if Hoist woulda been right and it was in TWO weeks???  It sounds like you're going to have a blast and meet some more great CVO peeps! Just take lots of pics

Howie, what the ladies haven't realized yet is that they don't need site management to create a section for them.  They can go in to "other" (or wherever) and create a thread or threads all their own.  Enforcement to tell the boys to play elsewhere won't be a problem.  They'll just have to say in the first post of the thread that any guy that encroaches is cut off for a week  .

The only time I've ever been to NY was to fly through LaGuardia, so I have no concept of how folks are up there other than what I hear, read or see on TV.......and we all know how accurate that info source is.   I'm a simple southern gentleman just mindin' my owwwwwwwwn bid'niss.    Works pretty good for me!

Yeah Binx, I need to do that.  You know, during 21+ years of service in the Army, I've been to plenty of places OUTSIDE of this wonderful country of our's, and now that I'm retired from the Army and working as a Department of Defense contractor, I still get to go to even more places OUTSIDE of this wonderful country of our's.  Heck, I've been to more places OUTSIDE of this wonderful country of our's than I have in it...........and that's all I got to say about that!  But...........one of these days...........and it is going to happen within the next 8 years, I'm gonna stop doing this gubment stuff and do something I wanna do that will allow me to stay home.  Be all that as it may, if I find myself near NY, I'll let you know.  Hey, Renea and I are going to Rolling Thunder next year.

As I recall, it conincides with a school term.  If I can pull it off and not miss class, then I will, but I gotta keep school as the trumping priority.  Can you tell me the dates, and I'll see if I can make it work...............even if it means I gotta go hide somewhere for an hour or two with my nose in the books.
