instrument bulbs

Can anyone tell me what the watts are on the bulbs lighting up the gauges.  I would like to get brighter ones so I can see them better.  Guess I'm getting older.  Anybody else having problem seeing the 6th gear light during the day, or the gas gauge at night?  Anyway I want to brighten things up a bit :pineapple: :pepper: :apple:

Sixth gear light's a joke. You can never see it during the day at all. I like the 5th gear whine! I know when I'm in 5th! And If I'm not getting the whine, I must be in 6th! ::) Hoist! 8)

Unless there was a change I missed, the gauge illumination bulbs are 3.4 watt "peanut" bulbs.  That is only for the fuel, air temp, oil pressure, and volt gauges.  The speedo and tach are non-serviceable LED's.  Check out this thread:  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=7965.msg120363#msg120363
