1000 miles - rocker boxes clearanced due to valve spring retainer interference
4900 miles - rear cylinder leaking - lifter noise - periodic electrical issues
    *not yet repaired

Need a new painting on the frame (Rust on the welds)
4k miles : leaking head gaskets, pistons and cylinders, starter out, rocker boxes noisy :
Replacing Both head gaskets
Replacing both cylinders, both pistons, rings.
Not come back from the dealer since the end of June 2007.

Front and back jug o-rings AT THE BASE replaced for oil leak @ ABOUT 2500 MI.
No new leaks yet.

leaky head gasket,pinging, lost of power
after 38 days of being in the shop i finally got a new motor
like a new bike, so far

Update:

7000 miles, leaking again.  Both heads this time.  Went into shop 10-08.  Replacing both jugs, rings, don't know about pistons yet.  Had crank run-out checked:  5 thousanths.  HD is saying 10 is within tolerence.  Right

Should be out of the shop by the end of the week.  Owned 9 months, in the shop almost 2 months.

5500 miles: Leaky Rear Head Gasket, and Rocker Boxes needed clearancing. Redid entire top end. 2000 miles on that now, and so far, so good! My repair though, can not be used to determine whether HD's fixes work. We went just a tad deeper! ::)

5500 miles leaky rear head gasket. 8500 miles, oil pouring out. Took it to the dealer, and he repaired it at no charge and even gave me a loaner bike. He did both cylinders and re-ringed the pistons. I have no complaints with the dealer, but I expect to have the same problem again in another 5,000-6,000 miles. If it's still under warranty I'll take it back to them. As soon as it runs out of warranty, I'll do a Hoist-build on it and pay for it myself.

11500 miles...rear gasket leak 4300 miles ..replaced head gaskets..leaking again at 7200 miles..replaced gaskets with updated gaskets..9600 miles rear started seeping again..just riding it until they come up with a fix..
