Well folks after 10 years in the saddle of my 1999 Suzuki Intruder VL 1500, I've made the jump to my 1st Harley...at 44!!

My '09 Red Hot Sunglo, Road Glide, (w/ ABS) arrived on Jan. 7th which just so happens to be my 44th b'day!

I opted for about $8500.00 (discounted 15%) in HD dealers GOODIES to be added to my 1st HD. The BIG items, V&H Monster Ovals, SERT/ AC, chromed lowers, "Reaper" rims & rotors, SERG handle bars & seat, chromed switch housings, "Stealth" collection grips & pegs, HOGTUNES speakers & amp, chopped tour pak & on & on & on.

I tossed around the SERG for about 2 days and realized it would have cost me another $10K to step up to the top of the line...and who knows when it would have arrived...right now I've invested $26K in my stock RG...I'm DONE!

Counting the days til the rubber hits the pavement....

Congrats on the new ride and welcome to the site. Great looking bike. Just hard to believe "your DONE!" Apparently you haven't been following this site. Believe me there are plenty more nice to have items you will be introduced to on here. So don't hide the wallet yet!!

Great looking bike. I got to demo one just like yours, same color also. Very impressive ride. The Road Glide is an awesome bike.. And thats coming from an FLHT rider..
Waiting on my friend to sell me his Triple Red SE Road Glide. Unfortunately for him, his knees are in bad shape and he has been contemplating on selling it to me. I've been
saving my money just for that. Maybe next year, or next month. His bike sits in his garage with under 5k on the clock.
