Hello everyone,
The first time I laid eyes on Petunia Pig (09 FLTRSE3) and her long golden hair I knew it was time to end my seven year relationship with Miss Piggy (02 FLSTCI). I did eye Petunia’s mother and her silver hair and her wild twin sister with her orange hair. But Petunia’s gold colored hair was too much for me.
Over the years and many miles, Miss Piggy was faithful and never gave me any trouble. But the call of a younger, faster and prettier gal was too much to resist (she was born October 2008). So this upcoming Friday, I am going to dump Miss Piggy and pickup with Petunia.
After reading the many post on the board, I realize that Petunia might have some health issues that I might need to address sooner then later if I plan to ride her hard.
1. She has trouble exhaling due to some metal stuck in her throat. I was planning on seeing the doctor about this and having it cleared out. I was also thinking I could go the full surgery way and have some used pipes from 2009 97 cubic inch installed. Any suggestions?
2. I was also thing about her soft voice and considering a 2" Fulsac replacement. I love that deeper fuller voice.
3. Of coarse, after the surgery she would require a SERT and full Dyna tune. Would she need a brain replacement surgery too?
4. I also heard she get hot under the collar and needs to be cooled off with a less lean meal (less air more meat) because she after all likes to eat.
5. Also, to cooler her down a bit more, I was looking at the UltraCoolFL to keep her oiled and cool.
6. It is still a problem about her getting too hot and blowing a gasket in the rear?
Any advice would be appreciated. I am new to all this tuning stuff. Miss Piggy was pretty much stock and I would like to keep Petunia around for many years and miles.
