The cables are from Paul Yaffe and I will be happy to give a report when it's all back together. I can tell it will take awhile to run the wires/extensions.

Anyone no what might be the tallest bars you can use and still be able to use stock cables on an 09 serg. I'm looking at 10"bars.

This is similar to my question as well, I'm hoping to go with 12's and not change anything.....

I have done several bar changes on the 09's.  10" Chubbies are the tallest that wil go on an 09 SERG without cable changes. These also require a bit of re-routing of the brake and hydro clutch lines.

If you want to keep cost down, buy the 10 inch bars. Mine are 15 and I had to buy extended cables and wire extensions. But if you want the look and feel..... Go for the 15 inch bars.  :orange:

Hawk. when you get the bike back together, I would like to see how those saddle bag trim pieces look on the glove boxes with the bike together.  Thanks Doc

Here are the 15 inch Paul Yaffe bars. Well worth the extra cost of cables and extension kit. They feel great on the road, but if you go with these bars upgrade the handle bar bushing to polyurethane to stiffen the feel. Due to the height, you can feel the rubber mounts give a little. Also new mirrors are on order as the stock one are to big (the look).  :orange: :bananarock: :2vrolijk_21:

Hawk-- The bars look incredible, nice work.   Did you buy the extension kit from Yaffe?  If so, how much was it?  Also, how tall are you?

Only the cables came from Yaffe and the extensions came from Custom Chrome. I am 6'0 in height.  :2vrolijk_21:
