I am considering purchasing one of the two bikes and getting rid of my 03 SERK..  was wondering if anyone knows if the frame/suspension changed during the 2008/2009 builds?..  Also, do both have the wider rear tire standard?

Any help appreciated..

Shawn,

The frames changed with the 2009 model.  It is now a much longer frame than the 08.  It has a much better ride than the preivious years models and the 09 model has the larger tire.  The 08 has the standard size tire of all the other models.

I had an '08 FLHTC before my '09 SEUC. IMHO the touring model frame change was a big...and positive improvement.

Sold mine 2008 FLHTCU 105th and picked up a 2010 CVO Ultra.....Big difference between the 2010 to 2008 :2vrolijk_21 Handling is much improved
