Moderators, please move to the appropriate section, not having one I don't know where it belongs.

This is off one of my fire lists.

The MoCo has issued Service Bulletin :

This update addressed the gaining time issue along with a couple of others.
Here's the important text from the bulletin:

Thanks Duane!

Funny thing is I noticed this on the trip to MV...with the GPS, I had set the clock on the radio to match...by the end of the trip, I was off by 4 minutes!

Wonder why the MoCo is issuing service bulletins for the '06/'07 radio, but they never addressed any of the issues with the earlier models?

Istalling this upgrade has created some odd things with my system...when turning the ig off, the unit seems to have it's own mind about where it will be when you turn things back on...in other words, if you last listened to XM, when you turn it back on, it might go to AUX, FM, etc.  I cannot identify a pattern to this, other than it seems to prefer going to AUX over anything else...I have an input from my GPS to the AUX input on the HK...the whole thing is weird.  Waiting for next upgrade to see if it corrects this problem.

Terry, if I have my GPS on and it is plugged in to the radio via the aux in, I too see it change from FM or CD to Aux whenever the ignition is turned back on after being off.

Bill...I never noticed this happening on the 8.9 upgrade...You?  I'm hesitant to go back to 8.9 because of these other improvements.  My GPS pretty much stays on the bike all the time.  With the 8.11 I've also noticed (might be my imagination) that the AVC seems to work better.  More linear, it seems...

Bill,
From last August, you'll be no higher than 8.9.

I think that is a "feature" of the radio.
