CVO Transmission Case

I have a Baker DD6 installed in an 04 Trans which is painted black.I would love to swap this trans in my 05 CVo FLHTC but my question is if i strip off paint,will it match other components,such as Engine ECT?

Bead blast the case to get all the black off but leave the texture....paint with Harley's silver

In 2005 black or silver were the only options.  The silver you're after is Harley part number 98606BY.  That's a rattle can.

Boy,they dont give that stuff away,24 bucks.I was told that the cases on engine and trans are factory powder coated.I may try it anyways.

They are powder coated.  So the spray can won't hold up as well.  Though it is a pretty good paint and does a more than fair job.  You can send your case to a powder shop if that's what you want though.
