Title: Street Glide CVO '15 opinions ...
Post by: lucio49 on October 13, 2021, 08:05:50 AM
I have found a 2015 SG CVO (LC), with 55000 miles, one owner (I know him), always serviced by the official HD dealer. At 50000 miles it did a great service with all checks, chain and belt replacement. The bike seems very beautiful and dealer provides a one year warranty.
I would be very happy to know your opinions, what to check before purchasing. Do you think the bike has too many miles (for a CVO) or I might enjoy it in the future? The asking price is not too high and I am very tempted to take it.
Any advice will be highly appreciated.
P.S. I don't drive many miles a year, but I wouldn't run into major mechanical problems.
Lamps, Lucio

Sounds like a well maintained bike with a warranty. It's about time for a second set of lifters on that twin cam. If you like it and the price is right, it sounds like it will be trustworthy and well worth owning. And of coarse check with your friend, the previous owner first.

If you buy it, share some photos and some more info with us.

Enjoy!!

For my money, there are too many hardly ridden, very low mile bikes out there at attractive prices to even consider anything with that high of miles.  Have you checked cycle trader and the other online outlets to compare prices?

Depends on the price if the bike checks out.

I agree with talking to the previous owner. Since you seem to be from Italy. Probably not a ton of low mile used Harleys around. I wouldn't be afraid of the miles. I also agree with lifter replacement if they haven't been done previously.
