what engine guard is recommended for hdfxr4?? please respond to dbrandsma@me.com....or hdfxr3 here....Thanks Dave

Check for the aftermarket knock off of HD part number 49017-82a.  It's the narrower of the two engine guards that Harley used to offer many years ago.  I've got one on my FXR2 and don't hate it.  It was installed so I'd have a place to mount foot pegs.  I've got floor boards on mine rather than mid or forward controls so wanted an extra place to stretch my legs.  Figured I'd put up with not being wild about the look to gain the extra comfort.  Than didn't really mind the look.
