Title: Kuryakyn Pet Palace
Post by: spence on September 19, 2022, 08:08:26 AM
We have a 2020 CVO Limited and out 4 month old Chihuahua goes pretty much everywhere with us since we got him at 8 weeks old, little guy has over 1k miles under his harness so far.  We purchased the pet palace and the size and safety features along with the access ports for airflow are all great but Im not real happy with how the sides cave in slightly when strapping it to the luggage rack.  I have read some reviews online that people have permanently mounted it to the luggage rack so this isnt an issue any longer.  I have a few ideas running though my head but figured I would ask here if anyone has mounted one and how they did it.  Gotta keep the twerp safe.

I've used the Kuryakin Pet Palace for years with three different dogs, without any issues.

Not sure what you mean by the sides caving in?  That's not anything that I've ever experienced.  Can you post a pic of what you're referring to?

You can see where the sides are no longer straight

I think this may be the issue, yours looks to fit flat down on your luggage rack, mine does not.  Maybe I just need to put something solid in the space to make the palace flat.

Maybe a 1/4" piece of plywood under it?  :nixweiss:
