Springer Risers
« on: August 08, 2020, 08:05:41 AM »

Hey guys , going to be putting a set of 16" apes on my 2008 CVO Springer . The person who had the bike before me put a set of drag bars on it with aftermarket ( I believe ) risers that are about 7-8 " in height . I'm going to use a set of OEM Harley Risers I got off ebay plus a set of Springer studs I'm getting from ebay also .
My question is will the threads for the studs that screw into the forks be the same on my CVO as they would on another FXST Springer , like an earlier year ??
I would love to find a set of original CVO risers , but good luck with that I guess !
I also want to use the same grips and switches I have now , so I assume the bars must be 1" diameter where the grips are ?
Thanks in advance for any input .

The link below is to an online parts manual source.  Is a great tool for looking up parts and to use for comparison of one to another to see if something is the same or not.
