On my last trip (Spokane GTG) I snagged this original tavern sign in a antique shop. While in Milwaukee after Ribfest I tried to find a bottle of Schlitz everywhere I could think of but no luck. I understand the brand was resurrected a couple of years back with the original formula, but I still can't find a source. There is a website that sells skateboards, shirts, costumes and everything else except the real thing.
Anybody got a source for Schlitz or is it gone for good.  Doc

Schilitz and Hams was my High School cheer Beer  :2vrolijk_21: I havent seen Hams for a long time but saw Schilitz in a Sacramento Raley's a few weeks ago. Almost bought a case to remanence,  think i'll go back and fill my ice chest next weekend for a family reunion.   :2vrolijk_21:

Lou have you tried this website - Schlitz? Once you enter the website there is a "Product Locater" link at the top of the page. When I put in Va and Cali nothing was found but when I tried Milwaukee there were several locations.

You're welcome... Looks like it is available in Cali, that's awesome. :2vrolijk_21: I can remember drinking/buying Schlitz (and Black Label) as a young teenager in high school. :beerchug:

I just checked the locations for Raley's and they are along almost every city we passed on the way home to SoCal from the Spokane GTG. All I could think of today was all that Schlitz that got passed up  ???

I found Schlitz close by in cans at BevMo last night and enjoyed a couple after icing them down. I have to say the taste was as I remembered and quite good. Schlitz is definitely going to be my mancave beer from now on. The clerk said it should be available soon in bottles and I hope he's right. It's actually bottled here in LA at the Miller brewery...go figure.

:2vrolijk_21: I do recall them tasting pretty good iced down.... not sure if that had anything to do with it being at one of the few stores that would allow a young teenager to buy beer w/o any questions or they really did taste good. :D I'll have to keep an eye open at some of the beer specialty stores and see if I can run across any. :beerchug:

wookey jack

unfiltered black rye ipa

Wookey Jack is our first foray into the dark outer world of black IPAs.  Rich dark malts and spicy rye careen into bold citrus laden hops creating a new dimension in IPA flavor.  This brew has been left unfiltered and unfined to retain all of its texture and character.  At 60 IBUs, Wookey Jack is gnarly on the outside yet complex and refined on the inside.
