I'm not hard to please .... the very few times a case of beer is in order Michelob Lager in a bottle will do me. I don't drink too often but nothing wrong with a good brew once in a while.

I'm very pleased to see that youse guys are still spending an awful lot of time talking about the food of the Gods! This one is still my favourite though. It's probably worth the air fare just to come over and try it.

Nige!  Good to see you here!

Am now home brewing nectar of the gods & so far very pleased with the results.

I have.  It started as a love/hate relationship.  Ok, hate is too strong.  Make it a "this is weird/love" relationship.  At first it was an unusual thing to have sliding off the tongue.  Once got past the uniqueness though really liked it.  Now it's one of my personal 10 favorites.

One of the big drawbacks to living in a smaller town is the lack of variety when it comes to beers.  I have taken a liking to Sam Adams Winter Lager lately.

Hi Iski, Miker, Talon..... been pretty fine. Working hard putting our summer tours together (finding time for a few beers along the way!). We will be in the good ole US of A from June 18th right through to August 11th so a good few miles to be ridden in that time.

Do you guys get Leffe (Belgian) beers over there. If so I can definitely recommend a few of these.

Have to disagree their I'm afraid. A lot of our Microbreweries are turning out some superb ales nowadays and I just don't think the big boys, like Theakstons, can turn their hand (or want to) to some of these specialised offerings.

I just love the range of local beers we have available up here in the North East of England at the moment.
