Can only agree with you being a CAMRA member but there are a lot of beers that simply do not come up to the mark in either consistancy or quality.
Either that or the publican champions of real ale are buying aged stock ??.

Hi Iski, Miker, Talon..... been pretty fine. Working hard putting our summer tours together (finding time for a few beers along the way!). We will be in the good ole US of A from June 18th right through to August 11th so a good few miles to be ridden in that time.

Do you guys get Leffe (Belgian) beers over there. If so I can definitely recommend a few of these.

ive had it in canada, not sure that i have seen it locally

St. Sebastian is a favorite.  Also some Abbey Ales.  Any recommendations give me a welcome excuse to shop at Ye Olde Beer Emporium.

Am brewing an English style ale currently.  Should be ready to drink in about 2 weeks.

 :drink: :drink:  Cheers!

My favorite beer is a local micro-brew called African Amber, which is brewed by Mac and Jacks Brewing here in the greater Seattle area.

My personal favorite. I have to internet order and have shipped to the east coast from Big sky brewing out of Montana.

About to have a few this evening.

Not as Hoppy as they claim to me.....

The nitty-gritty, for all you beer nerds:
Original Gravity: 17.0° Plato; 1.068
IBUs: 85
Alcohol by Volume: 7.9%
2-row Pale, Munich, Carapils, Caramel and Chocolate Malts
Galena and Columbus Hops, dry-hopped with Columbus

Copious amounts of potent, high Alpha hops are manhandled into this beer at a rate of approximately 1.4 pounds per 31 gallon barrel. The enamel on your teeth is *probably* still safe with this beer, but we can’t make any guarantees.

In addition to the otherwise ridiculous amount of hops and the elevated alcohol content, we built in a sturdy malt character to balance things out

I was surprised to see this picture!  Diamond Knot Brewing is just a couple miles from my house.  They have a brewpub down in Mukilteo too.

Been supporting my local economy, drinking local beers from Odel's, Big Beaver, Grims, Fort Collins and New Belgum breweries. So many local brews yet to drink!  :2vrolijk_21:  :drink:
