You guys should move to a border city.  I can go into Canada and stop at the Duty Free shop and come right back with tax free beer or liquor.  The rule is that you're supposed to be in Canada for 48 hrs but no border patrol enforce it.  Even if they do, all they do is charge the tax on it.  Crown Royal is REAL cheap.  There are some good beers too but the savings isn't as much.  When I worked right in Buffalo I would make beer runs on my lunch break for weekend parties.

had a glass of Boréale Rousse after we checked in to the hotel.

we then met up with our friend and went back to his apartemnet where he had a bottel of Unibroue Don de Dieu waiting for me to try, its a triple white 9% beer wheat beer is not my favorite, but it went down good, our friend told us the translation of the name is "gift of god"



frm there it was off to dinner and back to Boréale this time Brassin Festif a limited brew celebrating Boréale's 20th anniversary

Nice.  Not a big fan of wheat beers myself, but have found a few good ones.  Definitely not a fan of malty brews.
