Nancy and I rode with some friends Wednesday evening to a new bar.

They served Schlitz and PBR on special.

A real hole in the wall type place with George Jones on the juke box.

It has a great name and we got two memberships.

I'm holding out for Strohs, then I'll join too.

Mike, I've paid $9 per at the store before.  I figure if there are folks spending $30-40 for a bottle of wine how far off can I be?  I like to try regional craft brews and I've gotten some great tips from this thread.  Thanks guys.

yup! smells great, cant wait to sample.

cooling down from boil to 70 deg. only takes about 15 min with the 50 ft stainless chiller

Our ground water isn't quite as cold as yours so on my last batch I tried a little experiment. Here in photo 1 is a submersible pump, submerged, (I bought to try this out) in about 30-40 #'s of ice water in a 70 qt cooler -  (the water you see coming out of the hose is the return line from the cooler you will see on down below)
