Leaving for Savannah in a few then en route to Myrtle Beach tomorrow.  No computer - plan to ride not post.

Happy weekend everybody!  (Well, except for Mark who is not on his weekend anymore but he got to start his sooner than me so he already had one.)

I picked up many more bottles of Hoppin Frog's B.O.R.I.S. (Bodacious Oatmeal Russian Imperial Stout) The Crusher Oatmeal-Imperial Stout, I love dis Chit 




Oatmeal Stouts are one of my all time favorite styles, and this is quite Possibly the best Oatmeal stout I've ever tasted.

OK guys,

I will start this thread for the week, "HAPPY BEER FRIDAY" my weekend starts in 5 hours and I actually get the real weekend off this week!! I was thinking about going and getting some "Red Stripe" for this weekend and having a BBQ at the pool, hey everyone is invited. Just PM my for my phone number and address so I know how many steaks and how much beer to get!!

But seriously if anyone is comming to Oahu (Honolulu, Hawaii) on vacation get in touch because I would love to meet some of the site members.

I found a true nectar of the GODS yesterday.  It's called Uber Sun by Southern Tier Brewing Co.  It's billed as an Imperial Summer Wheat beer with 8% ABV.  It's a little hop bitterness up front and a light fruity after taste.  WOW!

http://www.southerntierbrewing.com  The brewery is in Lakewood, NY, (home of Cummins Diesel) on the southern shore of Chautauqua Lake.  I'm glad that these types of beers are finally becoming popular.

If only the flights weren't so long....   but you do have a way of making of my favorite getaways sound even better... I too actually get a full week off this week, I am spending mine thou at the Dana Point/ Dohaney Beach Blues Festival, good tunes, good food, and most important good beer....

Do you know how big of a distrobution area they have, because I have never heard of this beer.  And for some reason this web-site is blocked from my work computer so I can't check myself.

I visited the islands a couple of times last year. Maui and Kauai are probably my favorite islands but only because of the slower pace of life.... I have friends thou that live near the marine corp station on Oahu too.
