My local packy has it...Always straight, a little ice is nice too...Best rum for the price out there for sure.  Zacapa is great too but pricey like the Flor De Cana...

Never had either one of those...are they packy store friendly? Are they better, or just comparable? I really did enjoy drinking Diplimatico on ice, but that night we were sampling just about everything. We even hit the old glass jar of moonshine at one point-it was a very good batch too-extremely smooth and crisp with very minimal afterburn.

Yup, we have a chain called Crown Liquors...They carry all the foo foo stuff, funky cheese and fish eggs, spensive wine and such...The 7 year olf Flor De cana is good up or mixed and is not too pricey, the old stuff gets spensive...

Thanks for the info Miker...I'm going to check around & see if Va. has some Flor De Cana to satisfy my curiosity. Always looking for the next best drink-everyone should have goals, right?

Went to Anchor Bar for lunch today.  Home of the Original (what everyone else calls BUFFALO) Wings.  Had two Sam Adams to wash down a plate of suicide wings.  I'm telling you, it don't get much better than THAT!

HAPPY FRIDAY.  I'm going to get a cold Heineken so I can finish up my work on the puter in my home office.

Happy Friday to all! I'm home awaiting the second game of the "subway series" double header here in NY (missed the first). No beer tonight though...A fuzzy sky is what I'm drinkin' (Sky vodka and peach Fresca <--(because it's there), and hoping for another Met win over the hated Yankees...No riding today cause the weather is hot and iffy...

Nice ride in the mountains yesterday, stopped at a BBQ/Brewery, now it's off to Ft. Collins brewfest!! :drink:
