A lower score doesn't always mean that the beer was bad either, you could get a low score and the beer taste great, but might not follow the guide lines for the style you were trying to make, I had that happen once.

very good point. you need to pick a catagory that the major characteristics fit into not what it looks like. looks is only 3 points total

Retirement Plan Investment Tip for those working on their Retirement.

If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now
be worth $49.00.

With Enron, you would have $16.50 left of the original $1000
With WorldCom, you would have less than $5.00 left.

If you had purchased $1000.00 of Delta Air Lines stock you would have
$49.00 left.

If you had purchased United Airlines, you would have nothing left.

But, if you had purchased $1000.00 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the
beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling refund you
would have $214.00.

Based on the above, the best current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

This is called the 401-Keg Plan

Big sign in front of the local Wegmans store: "Visit our all new BEER section, over 700 brands". They always had a pretty good selection and a walk in cooler....but now....!!! Turns out it is 730 brands. I finally got to try Negra Modelo. My brand of choice has been Dos Equis. Both are way too good. Not being a fan of yellow beer I will not be sampling all 720 but there is some interesting looking stuff there.

If you like Negra & Dos XX, try Bohemia.

Kalick from the Bahamas is a pretty good yellow beer, even though I am not a big yellow beer fan also, especially chasing a Diplimatico neat...

Have tried Kalic but memories are fuzzy.

You know a lot about good smokes.  I smoke ceegars, but am happy when they just burn all the way evenly without dead spots.  Found a few cheapos that I like ok.

Used to put cigarette loads in the cigarettes & cigars of buddies smokes.  Fun watching them explode.  Glad nobody does that around here though....

I used to do loads to my Mom.  I got good at it, using a toothpick to push it in beyond sight.  I thought it would make her quit smoking (silly boy).

I used the toothpick method also.  One warehouse manager, who was especially jumpy, would sometimes get 2 loads.  The secretaries did not find it as funny as we did.  Narrow minded, I suppose.  Back in the days when smoking was ok in offices & not relegated to some outdoor spot away from the bldg.

We started keeping cigs in our pockets - if a pack was left out on a desk, it was fair game.   :huepfenlol2:

DALLAS (AP) - Jessica Simpson is now selling beer. The singer and actress has signed on as spokeswoman for Stampede Light Plus, made by Dallas' Stampede Brewing Co.

Simpson will appear in ads in stores for the beer and is taking a 15 percent stake in the brewer. The Dallas Morning News says terms were not disclosed.

Lawrence Schwartz, Stampede's president and chief executive, says Simpson is the now face of the brand.

Simpson said in a statement that as an entrepreneur she's "always looking for ways to diversify my portfolio with good ideas and good people."

Stampede Light bills itself as a beer for active people.

Jessica Simpson bought 15% of a brewery in Dallas. Does anybody know anything about this beer?  A vitamin beer?

It's a Pilsner, so chances would usually be pretty good I would like it.  But it bills itself as a "light" which is usually watery crappola.

Good excuse to post a pic of:
