The first thing one notices in a Samuel Adams® Winter Lager is its color: the deep brown of winter. Then comes the magical aroma which promises something special on the tongue. The warm aroma of cinnamon and ginger which blends with the roasty sweetness of the malted barley and hint of citrus from the orange peel. And after that first sip the promise is fulfilled. On the palate Samuel Adams® Winter Lager is rich and full bodied, robust and warming, a wonderful way to enjoy the cold evenings that come with this season.

I'd love to think you had written that Neal - a fine description.

Now a beer like that would never be desribed as a Lager over here. If it was it would never sell to the people who would enjoy it and the oiks who normally buy lager would hate it.

Wouldn't mind giving it a try myself however.

Cheers  :drink:

My plan: Tonight my friends & I drink enough beer from the beer fridge to make room for Sam Adams Winter Lager.

Tomorrow I buy Sam Adams Winter Lager.

Some days my plans make more sense than others...........

The rotten bastids at the state of Florida alcohol and tobacco sales inspected my offices.  Luckily I had finished the Blanton's in delray while Schmoopy finished the Blanton's in Welly World...
End result; no more Blanton's in the office, rellegated to beer.

They did not find contraband in welly world or delray but we must now file for a major pita "club license" to hold libations...
Free country.. :-\

Sams Winter commin up...by the boatload..

Most unfair & a waste of taxpayers money to regulate libational opportunities.

We decided on BYOB for our club party due to extreme prohibition regarding sales of alcoholic natures.  Plus we could not give it away either.  Commie bastids.

I hope to have the situation resolved before your next visit to smoke AJ's cigars and libate responsibly.  If not we will have to go to the Yard House and drink ridiculously tall beers.  All they have is half yards, I don't get it.

Hope so.  Here in the booniewoods we have no ceegar-o-beerliquor-o-bar.  Of course before I saw you office, I was blissful in my unawareness.  Now I am aware & less blissful, but such is life.  Probably January before I get back to SoFl....

That link is excellent!  We have several bars here with good beer selections & most of them require their patrons to wear shoes even.
