NY recently repealed the puritan law that forbids liquor stores being open on Sundays.  Prolly a tax thing.  People still haven't caught on yet.

Sorry about the bike.  Fried chicken makes it all better though.  Will a wingbone fit in the fuse slot?

Thanks.  Had plenty of spare fuses due to my anal nature of carrying spare crap - also considering hot wiring anything else but unfortunately did not get to try that.  No fire extinguisher available so it could have been interesting.

Bike broke down at the gas stop - would not re-start.  So we had facilities available for the ladies & all were good sports.

I am restricted by my own sissiness to travel any further north than Sebring this time of year.

We desire a trip up to Florabama and will try to this spring for many oysters and lots of cold vodka
(beer works too), I will need your help in this endevour!

Not sure Nige.  Alarm light was not on - system did not show armed or disarm.  Alarm never went off - we tried that once.  Due to the speedo/tach/odometer/starter & blinker switches being dead it seemed to indicate a security system failure but not sure.  Module is next to the battery as best we could figure.

Are you thinking about this Florabama?

A wonderful place - very enchanting around midnight or so.  We have a beer pitcher from this establishment that has been refilled numerous times - how many numerous? - no idea.  Also know where to get vodka & beer & oysters.  Will look forward to your visit.  Would set out the red carpet but a stray dog ran away with it.

Unfortunately, Poseys Topless Oyster bar is closed for good in St. Marks.  A very sad occurrence. (Only the oysters there were topless although there might have been an exception or 3 amongst patrons).

Area mullet tosses vie for the rank of the top toss.

The Florabama's toss is April 24,25, & 26.  It's about 3 1/2 hours from here.  Perdido Key.  Slice of redneck heaven.

The mullet toss at the Blue Parrot on St. George Island is rumored to be the best of the area fish throws.  Usually in June & only about an hour from lovely St. Marks.

Okay Eagle, this is what I ended up doing, some on purpose, some cause I wasn't paying attention and put 60L instead of 40L.

:-)

10 Gal. All Grain yield

15 Lbs Two row
 1 Lb Munich Dark
 3 Lbs German Wheat
 1/2 Lbs Cara Munich
 1/2 Lbs Crystal 60 L
 1/4 Lbs Aromatic
 1/4 Lbs Chocolate

infusion mash 155 deg  1 hr
batch sparged 2nd mash at 165 for 15 minutes
Fly sparged the rest

boil hops
1 oz Chinook 60 min boil
1 oz Perle 30 min boil
1 oz Perle 15 min boil
1 oz Willamette sbrewteep

California Ale WLP001

She's boiling away with her first hop addition right now!!

Thanks again!

Brewed on 8-16-08, kegged on 9-4-08. Almost done with the first 5 gallon keg. Nice Brew!!

Another view. Have 5 more gallons on tap since this one was tapped so it should even be better!

Looks fantastic Rob!  I'm boiling an oatmeal stout right now.  I'll pitch at around 11.  I'll keg in a week or so and it's homebrew on tap for Christmas.  I haven't used the keg system yet and just got the CO2 filled Friday.  No bottle washing!  I'm very excited!  :drink:
