Interesting development - yesterday Miker would not ride north of Sebring due to sissiness avoidance of cold weather in the northern regions, then Rob posts a pic of his good looking/tasting brew & he's heading north to Ocala.  Maybe if Jim posts pics of that oatmeal stout, you'd head to up Clarence for New Year's?   :nixweiss:

Beer is powerful stuff.......   :drink: :drink: :drink:

Yes, Jim lives in the frozen wasteland  frigid tundra cold, cold portion of coldness.  Riding 12 months a year is easy to do here in the hinterland of NoFl - no semi frozen ground.  Not the tropical paradise of SoFl  but our babe to blue hair ratio is better.

Looks fantastic Rob!  I'm boiling an oatmeal stout right now.  I'll pitch at around 11.  I'll keg in a week or so and it's homebrew on tap for Christmas.  I haven't used the keg system yet and just got the CO2 filled Friday.  No bottle washing!  I'm very excited!  :drink:

Nothing like kegging! You will love it!

Brother Rob....Xmas run for the miker's???

I have a Panty Melter Porter in the bottle and on tap that was "supposed" to be a Bass Ale clone... it is DARK but very smooth and roasty (if thats possible??)... much darker than the one I just posted...right up your alley!! Come on up when you are ready!!

Much easier that bottling 5 gal! I still like to bottle some just in case you want to take some with you. Keg gets heavy to carry around!

Brewed on 8-16-08, kegged on 9-4-08. Almost done with the first 5 gallon keg. Nice Brew!!

The wheat gave it a good head, so is this a full stout? Looks a little lighter than most.

Might only happen if WPB reserves are depleted.  It's a displaced yank we're talking about here for crisesake.  Always welcome of course.  Niagara Falls is only 1/2 away!  I can't promise any of the stout left however.  I might have to stretch it by making black & tans.
