Think/know I am going to enjoy a few tonight in celebration of my selection to Lieutenant Colonel...

Official List is out this morning, got my notification Tuesday from the Deputy CG, were really not allowed to announce it until the ALNAV message hits the boards.  That will be out in an hour or so.

Should pin on Nov/Dec time frame - tradition holds that we have a "Wet Down", you put the amount of your raise on the bar for your brothers in arms to drink from - so will have to score some more good beer (and rum) then.  Pay increase from Major to LtCol is significant (to me at least).

Nice raise!

I just had to look it up....

Make sure you try on a Road Glide (silver) with your grotesque ginormous size it may be less claustrophobic than an UC...

my plan/intent is to get one and build up an 103 same as the SERK - minimize the log tail, same engine same parts...

already told the wife I was planning on my LtCol present Tuesday

Will be post move this summer (I already have two bikes to move), wheeling and dealing with my monitor (career handler) started Tuesday, so hope to know soon where I will in fact land this summer, really hoping for Quantico area

well, yeah kinda - but I am betting they expect me to stop acting like a jackass soon... 

I was able to do it as a Major, but your pinkie has to start going out when you drink as a LtCol and you need to know which fork to use - they even make you use a napkin when you eat
