Just had to look up a little info. on Seans new rank.

In the U.S. Army, a lieutenant colonel typically commands a battalion-sized unit (300 to 1,000 soldiers), with a Command Sergeant Major as principal NCO assistant. A lieutenant colonel may also serve as a brigade or task force Executive Officer. In the Air Force, a Lieutenant Colonel is generally a director of operations or a squadron commander in the operations group, a squadron commander in the mission support and maintenance groups, or a squadron commander or division chief in a medical group. Lieutenant colonels may also serve on general staffs and may be the heads of some wing staff departments.

In the 21st century U.S. military, the rank of lieutenant colonel is usually gained after 16–22 years of service as an officer. As most officers are eligible to retire after 20 years active service, it is the most common rank at which career officers retire.

Good job Sean.

Congratulations Sean!  When's the move to Va?

working the deal now - most likely this June or July...want to get set in place before the kids start school in August.

Now I have to sell a house I have been in for less then two years, and have very little equity in (or rent it) - that is my next major headache.  I guess we are lucky at being the only area in the US that is UP for its housing market.

They are also talking about a 15k tax rebate for house purchases this year, that will help on both sides of this transaction (so I guess I am happy with part of the stimulus)

Thanks for all the Thanks!  :drink: :drink:

I'd go...

The 2009 Ministry of Rum Tasting Competition will be held at the Florida Room at the Delano Hotel on Miami Beach May 14 - 15th as part of Rum Renaissance. This is an opportunity for sugar cane spirits to be judged in a format which has been refined since Edward Hamilton conducted the first International Sugar Cane Spirits Tasting Competition in Ybor City in 2006.
