first time i have found 120

Enjoy!

Only drank it once.  Definitely a beer to sit and savor.  Rare indeed around here.  Can get the 90 minute but not always.  Brewed a clone batch of the 90 that will be ready to taste this weekend.

Dogfish Head 120...15-20 ABV.  Wow, the 90 will get your attention, the 120 must knock your socks off.

I've still got some in the cellar but wasn't a fan initially.  Too big for the sake of being big.

Expensive, caused by high transportation fees from Europe?

Excise duties and I'm sure transportation fees.  Belgium beers in particular are quite a bit more expensive in the States.

And usually not quite as good as they are in their homeland, had friends come over from UK and they were supprized at the difference in taste of a few of their favorites, not bad, but just not as good.

True and it depends.  Some of the bigger names like Duvel can be contract brewed here in the States (they own Ommegang Brewery in NY).  The smaller breweries are still brewed in Belgium and taste just the same.  Though, in Belgium, they know how to serve the beer in its own glass at the proper temperature!
