As mentioned by OBB you've just to retouch everything.  It's axiomatic but accurate that if something doesn't work after we've just messed with it the problem is what we did.  It's annoying but it's true.  Of course this has NEVER happened to me (of course not); but for everyone else that is the way it is....

While it may be the case that your first thought goes to chafed wires and some short or open that's been created do be sure and pay attention to what's every bit as (if not more) likely a culprit.  That's one of the connectors just re-pinned incorrectly.  Got a couple wires in the wrong place.  Especially on the right hand side.  Start there and good luck.

I hv went over it several times. Taken out the 40A fuse, disconnected the battery, changed to a new key fob battery. Turn the key on and red key comes on then goes off then stays on. I hv tried several ways to get a code and NOTHING!!! If I turn the key on and push the right blinker the oil light and neutral light come on. Let off of it and nothing. No gauge sweep at key on. No start in neutral, clutch or no clutch,no start in gear with clutch pulled. A manual would mk this a little easier I think. Any ideas or suggestions are gr8ly appreciated

Did you loosen the switch control housings and look for any pinched wires?  That's usually what I find.

Send me your email address I’ll send you the manual in PDF…it’ll take several emails (it’s too large for one or two emails) but I have the touring manual, the SEEG supplement and police model supplement
