I did this on my 22 CVO Tri Glide.  It sounds better, but the difference isn't mind blowing.  Of course, I changed all four speakers.  I did have to take it to the dealership after to have it flashed.  You might be able to use the HD RF sound app for that as you might have the BT dongle for your amp already.  The CVO Trike does not have that for some reason.

I have done this on my 14 CVO Limited.  Rockford Fosgate (HD) stage 2 speakers with a stock head unit.   Sound is considerably better, especially the high end.   I guess the best way to describe it is that the sound is very clean.   I can push the volume much higher with these speakers than the stock speakers.    Its a pricey upgrade however, IMO, I believe its well worth the cost for what you get in return.

The bike already has the RF system from the factory but with STG 1 speakers.... i had a '21 CVO Tri Glide that i had the "non" HD RF system installed @ The Milwaukee Rally & the difference was amazing...IMO i think their system sounds better than the proprietary system they designed for the MoCo
