Question concerning Boom GT 6.5 radio
« on: April 25, 2023, 08:22:21 AM »

Hey folks .....   I have a friend that has a 2014 CVO Limited like mine.   His radio died several weeks ago.  We were able to get our hands on a Boom GT 6.5 radio for free to replace it.   We installed it and it works fine.  Question is this, is it possible to apply the CVO Flash to that radio so that we get the CVO image at radio startup instead of the bar and shield ?     Years ago I thought I saw that someone figured out how to do it but, for the life of me, I can't find the thread.   It was posted here -or- on HDforums.com

Much appreciated,
-Tim

Yup. It's simply changing the name of the file. Guys on the RG site have done it but I can't remember exactly how.
