Wanted to get opinions on what dark sunglasses folks are using.  My Panoptics don't get dark enought in full sun.  Thanks!

Wiley-X Jakes. They're light adjusting and they also have an insert to create a better seal to your face. You really don't notice when they get dark because the transition takes a few minutes. I like 'em alot.

I also look really COOL in 'em... :huepfenjump3:

Which lenses?  If you have the transitions, no, they won't get dark enough.  I LOVE my 7Eye (new name for Panoptics) Taku frames so much that I bought 2 pair.  One with transition lenses (18%-80%) for those early morning starts or late evening endings, and another with dark lenses (NXT Gray, 13%) for daytime.  Works for me.

PS -- 7Eye/Panoptics recommends NOT using Polarized lenses for motorcycle riding.  I think because it removes glare that would allow a rider to identify slick spots in the road.

If you have the transitions or photo gray, try this. Set the glasses in full sun for about 10 min, then put them in the freezer for about 15 min, then back into FULL sun for 15. repeat this process 3-4 times.
I know its strange but something about lining up the molecules.
and when you go to the freezer, have some ice cream.

Are the NXT Gray dark enough for full sun riding?
