Gary - there are several smudges on the bag, you should take care of that  :2vrolijk_21:

Ah Chippy - the sprocket?

 :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

I know

I know

I know

But there is a plan!

First tire change I will have my painter paint it the silver like the bike.

With lots of clear so it will be shiny.

Sorry Duane, you caught me!

Do they make a sprocket cover or do you have to buy the entire sprocket?  I was just looking on Harley's site and couldn'tfind it.

Again, you come up with a great idea...for yours.  I don't thin mine would look too good painting it ruby red or typhoon maroon, or the orange colors in mine either.  I think chrome would be my only ticket.

3" here in Charlotte and it hardly ever snows here.
Black ice this morning.
Was 15 this morning!
This winter sucks!

 >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

That pretty well summarizes the past 4 months here in the frigid north!   :2vrolijk_21:

Inspection decal ???  I can't believe we don't have that yet in Ca. :o  What do they inspect ?  Doc
They check brakes, tires, etc. Mostly just a revenue for the state and shop doing the inspection.

But you'll have to wait for the part and then a bit for the paint to cure - good thing you got more then one to ride  :2vrolijk_21:

BTW - did you put fat cats on Nancy's 05?

I'd like to see a picture, right side - engine and trans. Angle like mine below.

Curious to see if it interferes with the the trans cover I have on my bike.
I like the cover but you have to remove it to add trans fluid (cover blocks dipstick)

From what I have seen it looks like the pipe would be a bit close to the cover.

Do they make a sprocket cover or do you have to buy the entire sprocket?  I was just looking on Harley's site and couldn'tfind it.

I've exhausted my search and it does not appear that they have chrome sprockets or covers for the 09 SEUC available from Harley.  I'm guessing this may be tough to find from anyone then, but I suppose I'll search it out anyway and see if there's anything available.

Holy crap!  Kuryakyn has the sprocket in chrome...only $649.99.  I think I'll pass.

NONE

Took all of 15 minutes.
Three screws, don't take out the one closest to the front.
It looks good.
Would take a picture but the bike is in the bike garage and I will freeze if I go outside.
Maybe later.

 :2vrolijk_21:

What did you mean about "don't take out the one closest to the front"?

I was at the dealer and the parts guy told me that the sprocket cover that had there would fit my bike.  I told service to put it on.  The tech came running out to show me that they do not work.  The sprocket cover has bolt holes to hold it on, but there are no bolts there on the outside of the 09 SEUC sprocket.  You have to get a new sprocket in chrome or nothing...and as I mentioned above, the only one I found so far for the 09 was $649.99 from Kuryakyn, and I have a feeling that may still eliminate the compensator if you do that.  So Chip, I hope your paint thing works out for you, since the options aren't great.

Once that 180 gets worn down the sprocket will be painted.

Just hope it turns out well.
