Would those bugs make a GW look better? :P

On a GW they probably would make 'it" look better. :D

Like fired00d, I clean mine at fuel stops. I'll put a hot towel on sheild & let it soak for 3-5 min. & they wipe right off. I use novus polish. while on trips I put a hot,wet rag in ziplock sandwich bag in my saddlebag to use at fuel stops. Buddy of mine in Ok used to let his go & some would leave permanent stains from the enzymes in bug. he was never big on cleaning, more on riding (20k/yr avg) until he bought 2012cvo seuc . Any way, just stay on top of it

Has anyone ever tried Novus products 3-2-1 with a random orbital polisher to remove scratches and return it to perfect?  I haven't had the balls to try it.

I use Plexus and microfiber towels.

Excellent product...... or the bargain version "Lemon Pledge" works just as good  :2vrolijk_21:

Have tried that but you gotta be REAL careful with the orbital or you will burn the top layer of clear off the windshield (don't ask me how I know this).

For daily use and longer trips, I carry a packet of Lemon Pledge Wipes. Great at getting bugs off. Great for all around cleaning on the bike.

I use Plexus and microfiber towels.

Plexus is a great product.  It will polish your plastic windshield and make it harder for the bugs to stick at all.

I used to do that chit, too, Judy.  Then I went on a two week trip with Tommy.  That only lasted for the first week.  Here's what a 2004 SEEG looks like after 2,000+ miles through MT, ID, WY, SD, IA, and IL! :)  Every one still came off! LOL

+1!  Clean it up when the trip is over. Keeping it showroom spotless when on a road trip can drive you nuts!
