Title: portable cd input not working

is this plug in suppose to work as mine is not and am wondering if it is because of the 12 cd changer. The book does say (not used), behind he description in the manual.

just found out from harley that this is a dead plug because of the cd unit in the tourpack.  Bummer, as I don't always travel with the tourpack but would still like to plug an mp3 player into the cd input.
