Title: fltrsei2 alarm problem
Post by: RANDYSEI2 on July 27, 2004, 10:42:10 PM
Has anyone had the alarm siren sound off for no reason? My 2001 eagle will chirp and sound at any time, including 3:00 in the morning. I tried battery reset, move and use two fobs and a waste of time dealer visit.

IF YOU HAVENT RESOLVED THE INTERMITTENT CHIRP TRY CHANGING THE INTERNAL ALARM BATTERY . HD DEALERS HAVE A KIT THAT INCLUDES A 9 VOLT BATTERY AND NEW GASKET. IT ONLY TAKES ABOUT HALF AN HOUR TO DO ( SMOKE BREAK INC. ) .  [smiley=laugh.gif] HOPE THIS HELPS [smiley=biggthumpup.gif]
